Calling on President Biden to stop the sewage from contaminating our beaches.
We can no longer deal with year-round closed beaches, the disturbing smell of sewage, and the overall negative impact this catastrophe has on the quality of life of our communities.
Now that San Diego County declared a state of emergency, President Biden should declare it as a National State of Emergency. It’s time to put pressure on our leaders, and you can do that!

Due to various reasons, including significant population growth and lack of adequate sewage infrastructure, both the Tijuana River and New River which flow into the United States receives billions of gallons of untreated wastewater every year. Which has resulted in over 200+ beach closures every year for the past three years in Imperial Beach and along the coast.
We deserve the federal resources and manpower to clean up this disaster once and for all!
